Manufacturing
Founded in 1993 Forest Designs is committed to producing high quality furniture that is
100% made in the USA. Everything we produce is manufactured in our modern plant in
Phoenix, Arizona. This ensures that our customers get the quality they deserve, and allows us
to respond quickly to special requests. If a replacement part is required there is no need to
wait for a “Slow Boat from China”. We just manufacture the part and ship it within a few days. If
our customers have a special request or want a custom piece our craftsmen engineer the
required changes on site, and get it to our customers in a timely fashion. If furniture is
damaged en route we get any needed replacement parts produced and shipped quickly.
Quality
The key to high quality furniture is high quality raw materials. We use the finest grade
Plywood. If Oak is desired we use only plain sliced veneers. If Alder is selected we use
premium grade solids. If there is an exposed back real Oak or Alder are used. Bookcase
shelves have solid (not tape edged) fronts, and are made of the same material as the rest of
the bookcase. A multiple step sanding process is used to ensure a better than average finish.
We use only Sherwin Williams stains, sealants, and lacquers to complete the manufacturing
process. Every drawer in every product has full extension glides. And we continually try to
improve our products.

No disappointing limitations or collections available in only a select few styles or finishes.

From our Traditional style with four different trim options that lets you select glass, doors
and hardware to our Mission, Bullnose, Shaker, and new Urban styles, we are confident that
everyone will find a choice they like. And every one of these choices is available in sixteen
different finishes.
Custom
While we offer a comprehensive and broad based product line, and are continuously
adding new SKU’s based on changing consumer tastes, we recognize that occasionally there
is a need for modification. If you want a SKU modified just let us know, and we will
accommodate your special request. And if you want a completely custom piece just draw a
sketch and fax it over. We will price it for you quickly, and get it right the first time. The only
restriction is that it is in one of our existing style and finishes.
